Most pupils returned to school full time at the start of the autumn term 2020. Despite this, there was, and still is, still a risk of localised outbreaks of coronavirus (COVID-19) or of small numbers of individual pupils being unable to attend school. In addition, The Department for Education has asked us to plan for any disruption to schooling during the 2020 to 2021 academic year, such as the national lockdown which commenced on the 5th January 2021.
Where a class, group or small number of pupils need to self-isolate, or there are local restrictions requiring pupils to remain at home, the Department for Education expect schools to have the capacity to offer immediate remote education.
Please find below our remote education offer, correct as of 26th January 2021.
Risk Management Plan
Our Risk Management Plan for COVID-19 can be found here below. This details the steps we are taking and measures put in place to ensure the safety of pupils, staff and the visitors to the academy. If you would like more information about the risk management plan, please contact the school office. Due to the sensitive information contained within, some elements of the risk management plan have been left blank for public viewing.
