Reading Borough Council are responsible for all admissions at The Palmer Academy with the exception of Nursery. To view our catchment area click here.

Admissions to The Palmer Academy

For all admissions to The Palmer Academy we require parents to complete and sign our Admissions Form.

Nursery Admissions

The school manages admissions for parents wanting a place in our Nursery. We offer both 15 hour funded places and 30 hour funded places. For more information about 30 hour funded places please visit our 30 Hour funding page under the parents tab at the top of this page.

Once we have received the admissions form for your child, we will put your child's name on the waiting list for a place in the term after your child turns 3. We will normally contact parents 6-8 weeks before your child is due to start. When we contact you we will give you a number of visit dates, a home visit date and a start date.

During the visits to Nursery we discuss the transition process and fill in all other paperwork. For more information about our Nursery please visit our Nursery class page under the Children tab at the top of this page.
