Nursery Admissions (for children aged 3/4)
The school manages admissions for parents wanting a place in our Nursery. We offer both 15 hour funded places and 30 hour funded places. Click here for more information about 30 hour funded places.

Once we have received the admissions form for your child, we will put your child's name on the waiting list for a place in the term after your child turns 3. We will normally contact parents 6-8 weeks before your child is due to start. When we contact you we will give you a number of visit dates, a home visit date and a start date.
During the visits to Nursery we discuss the transition process and fill in all other paperwork. For more information about our Nursery please visit our Nursery class page.

REAch2 Academy Trust determines The Palmer Academy’s admission arrangements in agreement with Brighter Futures for Children Admission Authority (Local Authority). The Palmer Academy is part of the Local Authority’s coordinated admissions scheme. Details of how to apply for a place at the academy are available at brighterfuturesforchildren.org

- Thursday 7th January 2027 at 9.30am
If you are interested in visiting The Palmer Academy, please email the school office ([email protected]) to book a place on one of the available tour dates. School tours will last approximately one hour.
When booking, please provide the names of those attending (maximum of two adults) and indicate your preferred tour date. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from the school office.
