Year 6 visited Reading Museum and experienced what a child in the Victorian era would have experienced. We had to sit with ours hands behind our back and write with ink and quills! It was so much fun but also very scary as he would be very cross if we moved or spoke! Mohammed even was ‘caned’ for not dictating sentences correctly! We learned so much about life for children back then and look forward to learning more for the rest of the term.
