8 February 2019
Year 2 have learnt so much about London and have loved their project. They learnt about the Royal Family, the sights and sounds of London, the Great Fire of London and learnt the map of the UK. They also wrote fantastic London adventures for our hero Claude and used different types of statistics to show results of tourist visiting London landmarks.
On Friday 8th February we were extra excited to visit London and the special playground in Kensington Gardens. Despite the rain we explored, climbed, swung, jumped, danced and laughed. We were joined by our Year 2 friends from our family school Ranikhet Academy and even got a photo altogether.
After our London adventure we were so excited to show our family and friends our learning so we invited them for a Royal afternoon tea. We spent a great afternoon making crowns, cards, colouring and of course eating cake! Thanks to all our families for attending and the kind donations of cakes too!
We are now extra excited to start our new project about toys and memories.
