We have had a great last month at Nursery – Sports Day, Mud Run, Bubble Workshop and preparing for Reception – what a very busy month!
Sports Day was such fun and the children demonstrated great team spirit, good listening and sportsmanship!
Well done to....
The children enjoyed some relay and individual races. We also invited the Mums and Dads to race – especially W Morning Nursery.
And a special well done to Joyceline’s mum and dad – they won both the Mummy and Daddy races!! Wow!
We have also enjoyed a Teddy Bear’s Jungle Picnic in the sunshine as well as all our jungle stories this term – they have really fired the children’s imaginations; producing great drawings and exciting role-play opportunities.
Unfortunately, our class puppet Mr Monster is currently missing – oh no! (wink wink)
The children have come up with a few ideas of his whereabouts - I am pretty sure he will be found soon.
But best of all, the children have demonstrated great creativity, friendships and teamwork this term – well done to you all.
We just want to wish you all the very best in your new adventures – whether you are going up to Reception, starting a new year with Miss Harris or going on to a new school.
It has truly been a pleasure for all of us in the Nursery Team this year – we have enjoyed seeing the children’s progress and seeing them flourish at Palmer Academy.
