Highlights from Year 1

Year 1 have had another fantastic week. We have been designing our own umbrellas in teams over the past couple of weeks and finally got to make the final product this week. As well as this we have been continuing some good work on place value in maths, focusing on using our ones and tens. In English we are starting some learning around persuasive writing called ‘come to my candy house’. However, we have had some added excitement as the elf on the shelf has been hiding around our classroom’s each day!
