Year 5 have shown such resilience and determination this week. In Maths, we have been learning all about short division and how to use it when dividing a 3 or 4 digit number by a 1 digit number. Some of us found it really tricky at the start but felt such a sense of achievement when we finally understood it! In Geography, we have been learning about coasts. This week, we have learnt about how coasts are formed and the difference between coastal areas and inland areas. We sorted some well-known locations onto a Venn diagram earlier on the week and then had to explain our thoughts and reasoning. During this lesson, we all collaborated well when working as a team.
