Reception Highlights

This week in topic the reception children have been learning about old and new forms of transport. We have been looking at how they are similar and different. The children then wrote a sentence about one of the forms of transport. Well done to Rosie and Katie for using ‘but’ and ‘and’ to make their sentences longer.

In maths we have been remembering the properties of 2D shapes and using them to copy pictures. It was very tricky to rotate the shapes so that they matched the pictures exactly, but the children showed how resilient they are and did not give up!
