On Valentine's we went to sing to the elderly people. We learnt some classic love songs such as "Say a Little Prayer" by the late great Aretha Franklin, "L.O.V.E" by Nat King Cole and "Here comes the sun" By The Beatles. Miss Jackson also had the lovely idea of making hearts to hand out to the elderly folk. When we were singing, we felt warm in our hearts and we hope we cheered up the residents' days. After we had sung, we enjoyed chatting with the elderly folks and hearing about their lives. The lady I spoke to told me that she used to love listening to records and going to the dance with her husband. It was so nice to go on Valentine's day because it's good to cheer up people who might be lonely. It was really nice to visit people who live so close to our school.
They were so welcoming and we hope we can go back and visit soon
