Image of Year 3 Reading Festival of Sport

Two weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be selected for the Reading Festival of Sport. I was slightly nervous before it as I was unsure what it would be like at JMA. However, when I got there, my fears soon vanished. Everyone was so friendly and I even saw some children who used to go to Palmer!

We first took part in an archery activity where we used rubber arrows to try and shoot a target. I surprised myself with how good I was at it! After that, we played a game of bench ball with children from other schools in Reading. I couldn't believe how much fun it was and how everyone got on so well. Following the bench ball we took part in a Frisbee golf session. How much fun that was! All in all, it was a fantastic day and I know everyone on the trip enjoyed themselves. I can't wait for more things like this.
