We have had a brilliant start to the term in Year 2. We have started our new art sketch books and explored the artist Rembrandt and the features of his portrait. We have also been discussing stereotypes in PSHE around boys and girls. We paired up and found out the similarities between boys and girls and how our genders do not determine our opinions and choices. In History we are learning about the Great Fire of London and have worked out where it took place as well as when in history it happened. We are so proud of the way the Year 2 children have returned this half term and are pleased to be able to share their great achievements with you at parents evening.
