Year One have had another fantastic week! We have been looking at features of persuasive writing in English and have enjoyed using ‘bossy’ verbs to boss each other around! In maths we have been exploring money, and the value of each coin and note. We are getting towards the end of Malala’s Magic Pencil in our reading lessons and have been astounded by her resilience and determination! We also continue to enjoy learning about the differences between seaside holidays in the Victorian times and now and have been identifying the 4 nations of the United Kingdom and their capital cities in geography. We have loved learning to play the glockenspiel along with singing the song ‘Round and Round’ in our music lessons. We are becoming much more confident at performing together! Keep up the super learning everyone - we’re almost there!
