What have Year 2 been learning about this week?
Wow Year 2! You have really shown such dedication and enthusiasm in this week’s learning. In Maths, we have continued our topic of place value and have learned how to compare objects and numbers. Our English unit continued with our story of The Tunnel, where we changed certain features and wrote a narrative. There were some really spooky descriptions of haunted houses involved which definitely scared some of the Year 2 teachers! Our Reading unit continued as we read Claude Going for Gold and with such a big focus on vocabulary, we are certainly learning lots of new words. In Science we have learned about our living things and their habitats. Did you know that even our playground can be considered a habitat? We hope that everyone had a lovely week and as we learned in our RE lessons, remember to be kind!
