Year 2 have been continuing to learn all about money in Maths this week. We are nearly at the end of the unit and the only thing we have left to learn is how to give change! In DT we learned about Gustav Eiffel who designed the world famous Eiffel tower in Paris. We learned lots of facts about his early life as well as what inspired his tower design. Our Writing unit concluded this week with a diary entry discussing how Mary Anning discovered the ichthyosaurus fossil while searching for curiosities on the beach. In Science we learned about the life cycle of different animals. We found out that some animals give birth to live young whereas others lay eggs. Do you know the difference? Be sure to ask us about these facts! We have had a great week of learning and hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
