This week, Year 2 have begun to innovate our narratives. We have written all about the escape of zoo animals from the London zoo! We hope that someone will be able to stop them! In Maths, we have continued to learn about multiplication and division. It was very interesting to see how knowing our times tables helps us when dividing. Please continue to practise the times tables at home to ensure fluency. In Geography, we made our own compasses to help us know which direction we are going in. This is also useful when reading a map. Finally, in Science we have learned all about the importance of exercise. We know that it helps our lungs and our heart. It also helps our muscles grow. There are lots of different types of exercise, including dance! Be sure to stay active and healthy this weekend.
