We have really enjoyed being back at school this week after the half term break: our teachers missed us! In English we have been learning about narratives which include flash backs within them. This meant we got a chance to watch parts of the film Toy Story 2 in our lessons. We created some wonderful story maps based on the text and will be creating our own versions over the next two weeks.
As a school, we celebrated world book day. As part of our celebrations, we had an assembly called, ‘The masked reader’ where our teachers disguised themselves and then read a story to us. We had great fun guessing who they were. We also swapped teachers for part of the day so they could share their favourite books with us.
Thank you to all the adults that helped with costumes. Everybody that dressed up looked great!
