We have had a wonderful first week back to school, after the Easter holidays. In Science and Geography, we have started our new topics: Forces and Magnets, and Deserts. In Geography, we have investigated what a desert is! We looked at lots of different activities to help us define and locate deserts around the world. In Maths, we have been continuing our work on fractions, looking at finding fractions of amounts and equivalent fractions. We were lucky enough to have some Smarties and Chocolate Buttons to help us with this too.
We hope everyone had a lovely Easter break, it was wonderful to see so many happy smiley faces on Monday morning. Well done to all the children who have been coming in smartly in their school uniforms too.
Homework will be back on this weekend, with MyMaths, EdShed, GoRead and Times Tables Rockstar. We look forward to seeing it!
