Year 4 Highlights

We have had a brilliant last week of Spring 2. Miss Davies, Mrs Aucock and Mrs Pitt would like to once again thank all the parents and carers of our year 4 children for supporting them through this term. In reading we have been exploring the infamous Bruce Bogtrotter chapter by drawing an illustration of the text and also producing a text map to help us with our summarising skill. Have a look at some of this fantastic learning below.

In maths, we have been continuing to learn all about decimals and next term we will be making links between decimals and money! In our PSHE lessons, we have been learning all about peer pressure and how to resist this when we choose to. We learnt a song all about saying no and then were challenged to create an extra verse.

Next term we will be learning all about “Coasts” in Geography. If you get a chance to visit the seaside over the Easter break, this would really help the children with their understanding of this unit.
