What a fantastic week it has been for the Year 2’s this week! In English, we started reading the story of Goldilocks and the three bears and the learners absolutely loved writing this story into their books paying close attention to the punctuation they use. In maths we have started learning how to count money, the learners have enjoyed being able to look at the various coins and be able to count them to work out how many pence they have. On Thursday, the year 2’s enjoyed a wonderful trip to the car museum. They were able to see the first bicycle and the first car invented and even got a chance to ride in one of the very old cars. They had a chance to ride on the motor-rail over the car museum being able to identify the different cars they liked from above. Everyone had a lot of fun! We have been very busy with nativity practices this week. Please practice your child’s lines at home this weekend.
