We have had so much fun this week! Firstly, thank you to all parents and carers who attended parent meetings this week- we loved sharing the amazing learning that your children have done over the academic year, and it was heart-warming to see the children so proud of their efforts.
This week, we have been exploring decimals in maths for the first time! We applied our skills, knowledge and understanding of place value to find out what happens to a 2-digit number when you divide by 10. Take a look at the picture below to show how we explored this! In History, we used ingredients that would have been around in Roman Britain to make honey biscuits. Look at some of the children making the dough!
As mentioned during the parent meetings, we have our times table test coming up in May. Children have to get 25/25 to pass the test. Please keep on revising all times tables up to 12x12 to give your child the best chance of passing. The “sound check” game on TT Rock stars closely resembles the test so please use this feature to practice.
